Greenworld Wind Power to Conduct Wind Data Survey on Mount Mariveles

GWD (www.greenworldpower.ca), announced today that the Philippine
Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA)
has agreed to analyze wind patterns on Mount Mariveles in support of the
wind farm that will provide power to the Free Port Area of Bataan (FAB).
This data will be used to optimize the placement of the Company's wind
turbines. It is anticipated that the wind farm will consist of 10 x 500 Kw
wind turbines for a total of 5Mw capacity.
One of the mandates of PAGASA is to undertake activities relative to
observation, collection, assessment and processing of atmospheric and
allied data for the benefit of agriculture, commerce and industry.
The FAB is a special economic development zone designed to attract
industrial and commercial business to the Municipality of Mariveles,
Province of Bataan. The FAB was created in July, 2007, under the Federal
government's Republic Act No. 9728. The FAB shall provide incentives such
as tax and duty-free importations of raw materials, capital and equipment
to registered enterprises located therein.
