HERING SCHUPPENER Consulting leads the M&A rankings by mergermarket in the
first half of 2011, once again reaching the number 1 position in the German
market - both in terms of volume and value of transactions. In the period
from January 1st through June 30th, 2011, the strategic consultancy for
communications advised on 15 mergers and acquisitions with a total value of
around EUR69.2 billion.
An international comparison also shows that HERING SCHUPPENER with its
global network AMO ranks among the leading communications consultancy
firms. With 37 offices in 27 countries, AMO advised on over 100 M&A
transactions across the globe during the first half of 2011.
'The first half of 2011 was in particular characterized by public
cross-border transactions. The German M&A market is currently in a phase of
rebound which should continue in the second half of the year,' says
