Van der Moolen expects operational loss in Q2

(international trading andbrokerage in listed equities and derivatives) announces today that itexpects to make an operational loss of between ? 7 million and ? 8million in the second quarter of 2009.Because of the disappointing results Mr. Richard den Drijver hasdecided, in the interest of the company, to step down as chairman ofthe Executive Board of Van der Moolen.
