Veidekke ASA: Won major contract in Lillestrøm

Jernbanegata AS (OBOS) has awarded Veidekke Entreprenør the contract to build
the Portalen project. At the railway site in Lillestrøm Veidekke will erect an
office building, two blocks of flats, retail premises, a hotel and a parking
cellar. This is a turnkey contract valued at NOK 821 million, excluding VAT.
The project is a huge 55,000 square metres and includes 144 flats, 219 hotel
rooms, 4,000 square metres of retail premises and 17,000 square metres of office
space for 868 workplaces. The office building will be built according to the
BREEAM-NOR Very Good environmental classification. The parking cellar will have
space for 248 cars and 788 bicycles.

to test. We have worked on developing the project since the autumn of 2013 in
close cooperation with OBOS, the consulting engineers and architects. Now we are
looking forward to starting the actual construction work, and would like to
