(Thomson Reuters ONE) - PÿYRY PLC Press release 20 July 2009 at 1:10 p.m.PÿYRY AWARDED TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE SERVICES FOR MAIN WASTE WATERTREATMENT PLANT IN PARISPöyry has been awarded technical assistance services in therehabilitation of the pre-treatment unit of the Seine Aval main watertreatment plant in Paris by the Syndicat Interdépartemental pourl'Assainissement de la Région Parisienne (SIAAP). The value of thecontract amounts to about EUR 3 million and it is included in theorderstock for June 2009.The Paris Seine Aval waste water treatment plant is among the largestplants in the world, with a flow capacity of 1,855,000 m3/d i.e.around 7 million PE. In complying with the European Water FrameworkDirective requirements, the pre-treatment unit will be fullyrenovated, including hydraulics of waste water inception, degridding,sand and grease removal and treatment and deodorization of the unit.Pöyry's scope of services includes the review of bidding documentsfor construction, bid evaluation and assistance to contracting, checkof general and detailed design, works supervision and commissioning.The assignment will be completed by 2019.Pöyry is a global expert in consulting and engineering.
