TGS Stock Options Exercised

ASKER, NORWAY (19 August 2010) - Four employees of TGS have today, 19 August
2010, exercised in total 27,250 stock options. 24,750 options were exercised
from the award in August 2008 secured by treasury shares at an exercise price of
NOK 70.80 per share and 2,500 options were exercised from the award in August
2009 secured by warrants at an exercise price of NOK 78.66 per share. Attached
is a list of primary insiders exercising stock options.
TGS-NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA is listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange
(OSLO:TGS).
