(Wettenberg, August 23, 2010) - PVA TePla AG, Wettenberg, a leading systems
manufacturer for the crystallization of silicon and of vacuum and
high-temperature systems, has received an order from the China-based Tianwei New
Energy Wafer Co., Ltd to supply systems for the production of multicrystalline
silicon ingots with an order value of around EUR 5 million. The order will be
processed in 2010.
This is yet another order that Solar Systems has received for crystal-growing
systems from the Chinese solar industry. In this case, systems for the
crystallization of multicrystalline ingots are being supplied to Tianwei New
Energy Wafer Co., Ltd. The expanded process capability and exceptional
operational reliability of PVA TePla MultiCrystallizers were deciding factors
for the client. Tianwei covers the entire value chain of the photovoltaics
industry, from the production of solar silicon to the finished module, and is
already the second of PVA TePla's Chinese clients to choose the
MultiCrystallizer product.
