New Lost White Card Solution Launched To Get A White Card Replacement
White Card holders can now get replacement White Cards without having to remember which RTO they got their card from. Now, this is no longer the case, and White Card Online Express can arrange a replacement Card for any previous White Card holder.
(firmenpresse) - In the Australian construction industry, workers are not permitted on a construction worksite unless they possess what's known as a White Card, or one of its predecessor previous qualifications. The White Card is a mandatory safety induction training program, that covers the essential basics of how to behave safely on a construction site.
Given the rigorous demands of life on a construction site, its perhaps not surprising that many workers actually lose or damage their Card and find themselves in need of getting a [replacement for their lost White Card](https://www.whitecardonlineexpress.com.au/lost-white-card-heres-what-to-do/). Fortunately, there is provision for them to do this without having to sit the course all over again! Previously White Card holders had to remember which RTO they got their card from, contact them, and they would arrange a replacement. Now, this is no longer the case, with RTO Urban E-Learning, providers of the course White Card Online Express, recently announcing that they can arrange a replacement Card for any previous White Card holder.
This service has been made possible through the provisions of Queensland Government regulator Workplace Health and Safety QLD. Peter Cutforth, co-director of the RTO who runs the White Card Online Express course, described the process required:
"First, you must have successfully completed one of the relevant construction safety induction units listed on the website with a properly registered RTO at some point in the past. If you go through the process without having previously held one of the below Cards, you are committing an unlawful act and may be prosecuted. Then, you will need to complete a Statutory Declaration which we supply for you, which outlines how your card was lost, stolen or destroyed. This Declaration then needs to be witnessed by an authorised person and submitted to us. Next, submit a copy of your photographic identification (ID), which you can do either by uploading it through our online portal; or use a webcam to photograph and submit it to us online. Once we've received this, we can issue you a replacement White Card through the mail, and we do offer an Express Delivery option, which uses Express Post."
Cutforth said: "This new service makes it much easier for people who have lost their White Card to quickly and easily get a replacement Card with a minimum of paperwork and disruption."
