KONE wins order for luxury apartment tower development in Indonesia

KONE, a global leader in the elevator and escalator business, has won an order
for 65 elevators and escalators to be installed at the six residential towers
and retail center of the Taman Anggrek Residences under construction in Jakarta,
Indonesia.
Located in the Taman Anggrek area, known for its shopping malls and luxury
housing, the development is connected to Taman Anggrek Mall via a sky bridge. In
addition to top-end apartments, Taman Anggrek Residences has three floors of
retail facilities to meet the daily needs of residents, including supermarkets,
cafes, restaurants, a 24-hour clinic, and a drugstore. Among other amenities,
the site will also feature a clubhouse with indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a
garden, a jogging track, and a children's playground.
KONE will install 42 energy-efficient KONE MiniSpace(TM) elevators, 15 KONE
MonoSpace® machine room-less elevators, and three KONE TravelMaster(TM)
escalators. All the equipment will be linked through the KONE E-Link(TM) remote
monitoring system, which provides real-time equipment performance status updates
and facilitates rapid resolution deployment to ensure operational quality.

Taman Anggrek Residences is developed by Agung Sedayu Group and is expected to
be completed in December 2017. KONE is currently also working with Agung Sedayu
Group for District 8, a commercial and residential use development in Jakarta's
business district in Indonesia.
