REMINDER-Media Advisory/Photo Opportunity: Public Service Professionals Rally for a Fair Contract

(firmenpresse) - OTTAWA, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 06/10/16 -- This Friday, public service professionals will hold a rally to call for a fair and a respectful collective agreement. Despite the government's renewed willingness to negotiate, little progress has been made at bargaining with Treasury Board.

"Our message is clear: we're ready to bargain for a fair contract that makes up for lost time. Ready to promote tax fairness. Ready to stop outsourcing. Ready to enshrine scientific integrity in our collective agreements," said PIPSC President Debi Daviau. "PIPSC members suffered for a decade under the previous government and we won't be pressured into signing a deal that doesn't address our reasonable priorities."

The Professional Institute of the Public Service of Canada represents over 55,000 professionals and scientists across Canada's public sector.
