Further to the share buy-back programme announced on 11 February 2011, Nutreco
announces that during the period from 25 February until and including 3 March
2011, Nutreco purchased 78,872 of its shares at an average price of EUR 53.51
per share. The total number of shares repurchased under this programme to date
is 412,035 common shares for a total consideration of EUR 21.9 million.

The share buy back programme will ultimately terminate on 15 April 2011, unless
