Northland Appoints Anders Antonsson as Vice President, Investor Relations

Luxembourg, April 7, 2011 Northland Resources S.A. (TSX: NAU, OSE: NAUR,
Frankfurt: NPK - "Northland" or "the Company") is pleased to announce the
appointment of Mr. Anders Antonsson to the position of Vice President, Investor
Relations.
"Northland is experiencing increased investor interest as the Company moves from
a development company to an iron concentrate producer," said Karl-Axel Waplan,
President & CEO of Northland. "We continue to strengthen the executive
management team. Anders' experience of more than 10 years in executive and
senior management roles within corporate communications in major listed
corporations will bring the knowledge and experience needed to ensure continued
high quality investor relations work."
Mr. Antonsson has most recently served as Senior Consultant of RHR Corporate
Communications. Prior to that, he was Head of Corporate Communications and
Investor Relations at Stockholm-based, Intrum Justitia Group. Anders gained
experience also from similar functions with Scancem and Trelleborg Group.
Mr. Antonsson assumes the position with immediate effect.
