Frankfurt: NPK - "Northland" or "the Company") notes that Swedish media this
morning reports on a signed contract for the civil works for the Kaunisvaara
mine in Northern Sweden.
Northland would like to clarify that no decisions have yet been taken regarding
a contract for the civil works. Northland is a publicly traded company in
Toronto and Oslo and any contract of size for civil works for Kaunisvaara would
be announced in a separate news release.
