License agreement signed with ABBYY for supply of Russian to English dictionary
Rosh Ha'ayin, July 04, 2011. Wizcom Technologies Ltd. (Prime Standard: WZM, IL
0010830706), a leading global provider of handheld scanning and translation
tools, today announces it has appointed Mr. Igor Bashes as its Sales Manager for
CIS countries and Eastern Europe.
The Company also announces that it has signed a licensing agreement with ABBYY,
a leading provider of document conversion, data capture, and linguistic software
and services for the supply of a Russian to English dictionary for use with
Wizcom's scanning and translation pens.
Mr. Bashes brings with him a deep understanding of the Eastern European, Russian
and Baltic markets. In a ten year career with technology company Alvarion,
lastly as Sales Manager, he helped the company establish a foothold and
subsequently expand their business in the CIS and Baltic regions. Mr. Bashes
holds an MSc. in Electronic Engineering from the Polytechnic Institute,
Voronezh, Russia.
