"Oriola-KD's pharmacy chain in Sweden, Kronans Droghandel, moves into a new
phase with focus on improved profitability and operational stability. Mr Jonas
Levin, Marketing Director of Kronans Droghandel has been appointed Acting
Managing Director of the pharmacy chain on 15 August 2011. Mr Jo Langmoen has
simultaneously been appointed Senior Advisor for Oriola-KD's retail business in
Sweden and member of the Board of Directors of Kronans Droghandel Apotek AB. Ms
Cecilia Marlow, member of Oriola-KD's Group Management Team and Managing
Director of Kronans Droghandel Apotek AB resigns on 15 August 2011. The search
for a new Managing Director starts immediately. During the past three years we
have accomplished a lot and have today a well known pharmacy chain with 200
pharmacies. I want to thank Cecilia Marlow for her efforts in taking over the
acquired pharmacy chain and launching retail operations in Sweden", said Eero
Hautaniemi, President and CEO of Oriola-KD Corporation.
Jonas Levin has worked as Marketing Director of the Kronans Droghandel pharmacy
chain since 1 October 2009. Jo Langmoen served as President and CEO of the Tamro
Group until July 2009. Cecilia Marlow joined the Oriola-KD Group on 4 August
2008 to prepare the pharmaceutical retail operations in Sweden in connection
with the state's pharmacy monopoly deregulation in 2009.
