PLASTIMAGEN MÉXICO confirms its role as leading B2B event for the plastic industry in Mexico and Latin America
Constantly growing demand leads to extension of the exhibition area
(PresseBox) - PLASTIMAGEN MÉXICO is the major international exhibition for the plastic industry in Mexico and Latin America presenting machinery, equipment and raw materials, as well as global solutions for the plastics processing industry. Last year´s edition was the most successful with 840 exhibiting companies, representing more than 1.600 brands on 40.000 qm, and over 32.000 attendees. The main B2B event for the region is organized by E.J.Krause Tarsus de México and supported by EUROMAP (Europe´s Association for Plastics and Rubber Machinery Manufacturers) and ANIPAC (The National Association of Plastics Industries).
Due to the high demand of exhibiting space in the past years, PLASTIMAGEN MÉXICO 2017 presented two new additional areas ? Hall E and Hall F for heavy machinery. More than 1.200 machines and machinery working were presented by the exhibitors live and induced the sales on site. The biggest machine ever showcased at a plastics exhibition weighed 95 tons and was brought last year by Polisol. Industry market leaders like 3M, Lohia, BMI, Beutelsbacher, Evonik, Clariant and Krauss-Maffei and other international companies from 31 countries took part in the previous edition. 13 international pavilions by leading trade associations and national governments showcased cutting-edge products and services to the audience.
Professionals and decision maker from industries such as plastics, automotive, transportation, agriculture, packaging, electronic, construction, cosmetic, sport, chemistry, medical and recycling attended the exhibition and the accompanying high-level conference. The trade conference with international renowned speakers focused on intelligent plastics and additives and plastic processes. The productivity of the plastics market in Mexico has increased and the plastic industry generates sales of more than US$ 22 billion dollar per year.
The 22nd edition of PLASTIMAGEN MÉXICO will take place at Citibanamex Centro in Mexico City from 2nd to 5th April 2019. The space is well booked and companies like BMI, Engel, Krausee-Maffei, Matsui, Milacron, Roll-o-Matic, Schulman und Wittman-Battenfeld already confirmed their participation at PLASTIMAGEN MÉXICO 2019.
