Bungee Jumping
Back now to an activity that is better known but no less exciting. Amsterdam offers an immense 50m platform from which you plummet towards the harbour. Expert instructors will be on hand to ensure your exhilarating leap is one of fun rather than faith! The activity needs booking 48 hours in advance and only runs during the summer months. So get your mates’ cameras ready for the greatest “boomerang” of your Instagram career.
Blokarting
You may have heard of its petrol-headed sister sport, but this green machine is making waves in extreme sports circles around Europe. Take to the beach to hire a blokart and race along the flat expanses to put your mates to the test. The kart is powered by a sail instead of a traditional engine which adds a demanding new variable to the driver’s attention.
Windy Dutch beaches are the perfect place to get your race game on with your mates. Full and half days are available at very reasonable prices. To top the day off I’d recommend requesting a BBQ for an evening session of great food and drinks!
