MEMPHIS Electronic launches flash product series
MEMPHIS Electronic, a global specialized Memory Distributor and Manufacturer of Memory Modules, is excited to announce the addition of MEMPHIS “NAND Flash products” to its portfolio of solutions.

This combination produces high reliability, superior quality modules for extremely demanding applications including industrial, Networking, Aerospace, Defense and Test/Measurement.
MEMPHIS is expanding its commitment to customers in the memory market with the launch of a new line of NAND Flash products based on technology from industry leading manufacturers such as Toshiba. The NAND Flash products include SSD in various form factors, CF & CFast Cards, SD/µSD and USB drives. All are available in both commercial and industrial temperature ranges and in all standard densities. In addition, MEMPHIS will also offer a new series of ruggedized Solid State Drives (SSDs) delivering added value in challenging operating environments (up to 100°C). These new Flash products will compliment and expand current capabilities and allow MEMPHIS to support an even wider range of customer requirements in embedded and industrial applications.
Michael Mehne, Global Director Sales & Marketing at Memphis Electronics, believes that the expected 3D NAND Flash pricing decline in 2019 will expand commercial application use cases, thereby increasing overall demand. Industrial applications will also benefit from this trend which will allow for increased densities in existing and new applications.
However, as a result of this 3D NAND progress, the major FLASH manufacturers will shift production to higher density products forcing customers to make costly design adjustments. The new line of MEMPHIS NAND Flash will provide a solution to customers who would prefer to maintain current designed in density products. The MEMPHIS SLC and MLC NAND based products will be available in traditional densities and form factors to give customers more flexibility and reduce the urgency of design changes. This expanded spectrum of products delivers fail-safe industrial grade Flash memory solutions for safety-critical, and highly demanding applications.
