Solteq to reform its organisational structure
(Thomson Reuters ONE) - SOLTEQ PLC STOCK EXCHANGE BULLETIN 16.9.2009Solteq Plc has decided to change its organisational structure tocorrespond to the company's strategic focus areas ERP (enterpriseresource planning), EAM (enterprise asset management), DATA (datamanagement and integration) and STORE (retail solutions andtechnology). The reform aims at streamlining operations further,enabling faster responsiveness and improving developmentopportunities in the company's rapidly growing business segments.The operations of the company will be divided into three separatefunctions: solutions, sales and marketing and business support.The solutions organisation is responsible for the company's customeraccounts and R&D activity. Ilmari Vallo has been appointed as thehead of the organisation and Director of Operations. The solutionsorganisation is divided into four separate business segmentscorresponding to the company's focus areas:ERP Director Mira SohlmanEAM Director Risto MetsäläDATA Director Jouko KiiveriSTORE Director Markus MäkeläJanne Mäkelä continues as the head of the sales and marketingorganisation. This organisation will assume the responsibility foroperations in Russia.The business support organisation encompasses finances, HR, officeservices, IT administration and customer support. Antti Kärkkäinenleads the organisation.Solteq's management group will include the Managing Director HannuAhola, Ilmari Vallo, Janne Mäkelä and Antti Kärkkäinen.The changes will take effect on 1 January 2010, and they are notestimated to have an impact on the number of employees.
