MEKRA Lang's wide range of products includes a large selection of specialized mirror and bracket systems, from mirror systems for special open-cast mining vehicles to modular vision solutions for construction machinery. Whether electrically or manually adjustable or retractable and extendable: we have the right solution for your machine. Thanks to the modular design of MEKRA Lang mirror systems and the various connection options to the vehicle - wedge, hexagonal mounting block, screws and others - the possibilities for your perfect indirect vision are limitless.
From the holder geometry to the mirror size, FEM calculations and extensive field tests are used to test all mirror systems for indirect vision quality, holding strength and robustness. In this way, problematic natural frequencies, for example, can be avoided in virtual development even before they are tested in the field. In combination with the extremely robust construction of the mirror and bracket systems, the absolute reliability of the end products is guaranteed even under the most adverse environmental conditions.
Mirrors of the future
With the 1009 mirror system, MEKRA Lang paves the way for the flexible mirror of the future. The electrically adjustable main mirror can be adapted to the exact field of view required by means of a large number of additional modules, such as a 240 mm or 300 mm wide angle mirror, a close-up mirror or the Surround View module. With the help of this adaptable system, the driver always has a full view of the situation around the vehicle.
A special feature here is the Surround View module: Integration of a camera in an add-on module provides the driver with a comprehensive, hybrid vision system that significantly expands indirect vision to the side and front of the vehicle. Blind spots are eliminated as far as possible, and the addition of an integrated entrance light also improves ergonomics for the driver.
Large product portfolio
In addition to the 1009 mirror system, MEKRA Lang continues to rely on its product portfolio, which has been tried and tested for many years:
Mirror system 1036: Electrically or manually adjustable, main and wide angle mirrors. For tube diameters 18-22 mm.
Mirror system 572: Electrically or manually adjustable main mirror. For tube diameters 22 mm, 24 mm or 28 mm.
Mirror system 573: Manually adjustable, heatable wide angle mirror. For tube diameters 22 mm, 24 mm or 28 mm.
Mounting systems 270 and 1016: Mirror holder with great variability, flexibility and modular adaptability.
Bracket system 1045: Sturdy mirror holder with large projection in compact size, with or without entrance light. The mirror head can be connected horizontally or vertically.
1017 bracket system: Electrically or manually retractable and extendable telescopic tube, with or without entrance light.
Special holding systems for large dump trucks with particularly high stability.
