Valetta, Malta, August 25th, 2011 - iVegas Gaming (Borse:IVLF) has announced the formal opening of a new corporate office in Malta.
In a statement released today, Adriano Cefai, CEO of iVegas Gaming Ltd, said he is excited about the opening of the new offices.
“Malta is the ideal environment for our company to establish its headquarters. The remote gaming sector is the most dynamic and the fastest growing gaming sector in Malta. Gaming companies in Malta are regulated under the Lotteries and Gaming Authority and IVEGAS intends to apply for two licenses in the near future for our casino and poker platforms.”
The Lotteries and Gaming Authority is responsible for governing all gaming activities in Malta, and ensuring gaming is fair and transparent to the players. The LGA oversees licenses for casino-type games, betting, betting exchanges, gaming platforms, online casino, casino-style games and lotteries.

Malta also offers political stability, a healthy economy, and is a member in good standing of the EU since 2004.

Cefai cites other factors for setting up a corporate office in the small, densely populated country, which is internationally renowned as a tourism resort. He notes that Malta has an “open market economy with free movement of capital and labour with a strong IT workforce.” Malta is the regional training centre for Cisco, Microsoft and Oracle, said Cefai.
