A Guide to the Beaches of Benidorm

Cala Tio Ximo
Looking for something a little different? Cala Tio Ximo is a small beach that can be found at the foot of a rocky hill – however, the journey down is not advised if you have young children. Boasting some amazing viewpoints, a relaxed atmosphere and plenty of opportunities for exploration, this is the perfect place for adventure seekers and nature lovers.
Playa de Levante
If you aren’t afraid of joining the bigger crowds, head to Playa de Levante, one of the most popular beaches in the resort. This easily accessible spot is close to the main town and has everything you could need for a full day of soaking up the sun. Those who want to stay after sunset are well catered for too, as there are plenty of bars and other nightlife joints dotted around just metres from the sand.
Kids will love the clear, shallow waters, and parents can rent sunbeds if they fancy a couple of hours relaxing in the pleasant heat. There are many water sports activities available here too, so everyone in the family can make the most of the facilities.
How to Get There
This sunny resort is easy to reach from the UK. A short flight followed by a transfer service from Alicante Airport to Benidorm will have you there in no time, and you’ll be able to head to one of these fantastic beaches straight away.
For an even easier journey, book your shuttle bus or private taxi service from Alicante Airport to Benidorm in advance of your trip. This will make things quicker and much cheaper.
