Veidekke to build new E6 Boksrud - Minnesund
(Thomson Reuters ONE) - Today Veidekke Entreprenør AS signed a contract with the NorwegianPublic Roads Administration to build a new four-lane motorway on E6between Boksrud and Minnesund in Akershus County. The value of thecontract is NOK 378 million excluding VAT.An approximately 7.5-kilometre motorway for speeds up to 100 km/hwith four lanes and a total width of 20 metres will be built. 1.2kilometres will go through the Eidsvoll tunnel, which is to beupgraded and a parallel bore constructed beside it.The contract also includes 900 metres of local roads as well asdemolition of existing and construction of four new flyovers.
