2nd edition of ANDTEX - Southeast Asia Nonwovens and Hygiene Technology Exhibition&Conference in Bangkok
(PresseBox) - The 2nd edition of ANDTEX, Southeast Asia Nonwovens and Hygiene Technology Exhibition & Conference will take place November 11-13, 2020 at the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Center (BITEC) in Thailand.
ANDTEX 2019 was a major success with over 200 exhibitors and 4000 buyers and conference attendees from 32 countries across the globe. ANDTEX 2020 expects international trade pavilions from China, Indonesia, Japan and Taiwan and a growing participation out of Europe.
Nonwoven capacity and production demand in Southeast Asia is expected to continue to expand during the next years driven by favourable demographics, economic conditions, local and export market demand and increasing market penetration. The strong growth amongst the ASEAN countries (Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam) leads to rising employment, higher productivity and wages. This in turn drives increased consumption of disposable nonwoven products. The different areas of nonwoven applications such as medical, personal hygiene, automotive, geotextile or filtration have enormous potential with significant opportunities for all manufacturers and providers in this industry.
