In the optical transport networks of data centers, network operators, and managed service providers, these components guarantee the highest security standards. Optional standard-based layer 1 encryption provides additional protection against cyberattacks.

All PacketLight components are the size of a standard rack. This modular design makes them the ideal solution for the flexible construction of network architecture that is scalable at any time on a pay-as-you-grow basis. In addition to low investment costs, maintenance and operating costs are also low. This is ensured by the free, web-based management tools of the proprietary LightWatch NMS/EMS, which make user-friendly remote configuration, performance monitoring, and network troubleshooting possible.
