Possehl Online Solutions GmbH was launched on December 1, 2020 as a corporate start-up of the Possehl Group. With this company foundation, the 5-member team has taken the next step towards digitalization.

All founding members bring a broad and long-standing expertise from different areas of B2B e-commerce and mechanical engineering and have already worked together as a team at manroland Goss web systems over the last two years. With this unique combination, the company plans to support and drive forward the digitization of companies specifically in the mechanical and plant engineering industry.
"Not only do we have 13 years of experience in B2B e-commerce, but in B2B e-commerce of the mechanical engineering industry. We speak the language of our customers and can translate it into digital sales models," explains Alexander Wachter, Chief Executive Officer of Possehl Online Solutions, as the unique selling point of the young start-up.
The range of services
Possehl Online Solutions GmbH is developing e-commerce solutions in cooperation with external software service providers, which will already cover as many customer needs as possible in the standard version. The start-up will enable its customers to participate in marketplaces, offer the development of brand shops and provide an extension to its own marketplace.
"But this is just the beginning," explains Alexander Wachter. "It is particularly important to us not to simply sell a product, but to offer a comprehensive service concept that complements itself. Our service doesn't stop at the point of purchase, it starts there. We want to make our customers successful with our e-commerce solutions. We make sure of that with our comprehensive range of consulting services, which in many cases go far beyond pure online retailing."
