(PresseBox) - Trade fair premiere in Shanghai: For the first time ever, technotrans SE will attend the China International Medical Equipment Fair (CMEF) on 13-16 May. The company will present their compact, energy-efficient and flexible cooling and temperature control solutions at the international trade fair for medical equipment. Among them are Peltier-based cooling units as well as compressor-based miniature cooling units for use in urological, dermatological and ophthalmological applications. The highlight of the trade fair stand is the new modular ECOtec.chiller cooling system: The xtend 600 to 1200 series has been specifically developed for cooling MRI scanners.
"Our participation in the CMEF is the obvious next step for technotrans in line with our "Future Ready 2025" group strategy. The health care and analytics sectors are among our four most important markets," says Denis Roessel, head of sales at termotek, a technotrans group company. In order to strengthen their international market position, the CMEF ? one of the most important trade fairs worldwide ? is the ideal platform for presenting the company's cooling and temperature control solutions to a global audience.
Highly efficient cooling solutions for medical equipment
The correct temperature is absolutely essential to ensure the trouble-free operation of treatment, laboratory and diagnostic equipment. "Our solutions ensure a constant temperature profile, thereby supporting the necessary medical processes," says Roessel. At the trade fair, technotrans will present its extensive portfolio for laboratory, analytics and life sciences applications. The products include extremely compact compressor-based cooling systems, highly flexible add-on cooling solutions and proven rack-mount coolers. The company offers solutions for low as well as high power ranges. For smaller cooling power ranges, Peltier-based units are the optimum solution.
The main focus of the trade fair stand will be the ECOtec.chiller series xtend 600 to 1200 ? a bespoke high-performance cooling concept for medical applications. The modular cooling system has been specifically developed for MRI applications. The ECOtec.chiller xtend series with its state-of-the-art refrigeration technology ensures the correct temperature tolerance and reliable operation under varying ambient conditions. This results in excellent energy efficiency in compliance with the requirements of the European Ecodesign Directive for energy-related products. Thanks to the use of high-quality components, the unit reaches a very high level of reliability. The compact design also minimizes the space required at the place of use. xtend.line units are equipped with a user-friendly, modular control system.
Extensive applications and bespoke solutions
The typical areas of application of technotrans units include medical laser applications in the ophthalmological, urological and dermatological context. However, they can also be used for cosmetic medical applications, e.g. for the removal of unwanted tattoos. In the analytical field, the units ensure stable temperature levels, e.g. in X-ray generators and for magnetic resonance imaging and spectroscopic applications.
Apart from standard products, technotrans also offers customised solutions. According to Roessel, these are highly sought after in the medical field: "Depending on the area in question, these applications often have very specific requirements. Thanks to our extensive expertise, we can adapt and modify our series systems based on a wide range of options in a targeted manner to fulfil these requirements."
