Covid-19 Can't Stop Our Pace of Development
ANDTEX Virtual Event for the Nonwoven Industry in Southeast Asia
(PresseBox) - Given the impact COVID-19 has had across the globe, ANDTEX organizer E.J. Krause & Associates has decided it?s in the best interest of all participants to reschedule the in-person event to May 2022 at BITEC in Bangkok, Thailand. The exact date will be published shortly.
To meet the trends and developments in the nonwoven market, E.J. Krause & Associates set up a virtual ANDTEX edition from June 2-4 to provide an online platform for the community of exhibitors, buyers, attendees and interested stakeholders.
This highlighted video conference section is providing a rare opportunity for visitors to obtain insightful views on technology innovation, market landscapes, and overall development of industrial textiles from the industrial experts, business leaders, and nonwovens organization officials. One of the speakers in the program will be Farrukh Khawaja, Area Sales Manager of Weitmann & Konrad WEKO, Germany who will give an insight about sustainable nonwoven finishing. International exhibitors including a Hongkong pavilion will present themselves virtually.
Interested attendees can register online free of charge on the event website. Despite Covid-19 and ongoing travel restrictions up to now visitors from Asia, including Japan, Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippine, South Korea, United Arab Emirates, India, Pakistan and Europe have already registered.
ANDTEX is regarded as the leading nonwoven exhibition platform in Southeast Asia with a total attendance of 3.800 coming from 32 countries and nearly 200 exhibitors in the 2019 edition. The event unites the complete nonwoven industrial chain, from raw materials, machinery to finished products, technology and geotextile sectors. The conference program will give insights, latest trends and market opportunities for the whole Southeast Asia region.
Southeast Asia remains an attractive region for nonwoven growth driven by favorable demographics, economic conditions and a vibrant local and export market demand. Increasing market penetration for disposable and durable nonwovens in Southeast Asia shows a very positive outlook. Major needs are expected for converted nonwoven hygiene products followed by nonwovens used in durable geotextile and other sectors.
