Patent dispute settled

(PresseBox) - 4JET and Hankook are happy to announce that they have entered a settlement agreement ending their IP related dispute about marking tyres with QR-codes. 4JET and Hankook will now seek synergic growth in the future mobility industry together.

4JET delivers solutions for the surface technology of the future. The company was founded in 2006 and supplies tire manufacturers, among others, with solutions for tire marking, mold cleaning and inner liner preparation. Customers include major OEMs and other automotive suppliers. The 4JET microtech business unit supplies laser micromachining systems for processing technical glass, solar cells and other high-tech components. The company employs 180 people, including around 80 engineers and scientists. Subsidiaries in Shanghai and Atlanta provide sales support and technical services to international customers.
