FDIC Auction to Include Foreclosed Office Buildings, Homes, Land

(firmenpresse) - DENVER, CO -- (Marketwire) -- 10/03/11 -- Office buildings, former bank branches and even a former technical school will be among more than 20 properties selling at auction in Denver on Saturday, Oct. 22. The auction will be part of a series of FDIC sales of foreclosed real estate, with managing the sales.

The auction will also include a luxury home in Denver, with approximately 6,506 square feet. The home is located at 159 S. Dexter Street, Denver.

Among the commercial properties will be a 10,361-square-foot office building in Parker that was previously used as a branch office for a bank. Other properties to be sold include former bank buildings in Loveland, Northglen and Westminster.

The building formerly used as a technical school is located on Boston Avenue in Longmont. "This is a large facility -- approximately 42,992 square feet -- and is ideal for use as a school, training center or a number of other purposes," said John Dixon, president of the auction company. "Among the other properties are residential home sites and land, which will be of interest to builders," said Dixon.

The auction will begin at 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, at the Marriott Courtyard Denver Airport.

Additional FDIC auctions in the series include:

- Wednesday, Oct. 19, 11 a.m. PDT, Marriott Courtyard Seattle Downtown Lake Union. The Seattle auction will include a number of homes, duplexes and commercial buildings, most located in the Seattle-Tacoma area.

Friday, Oct. 21, 11 a.m. MDT, Marriott Courtyard, Salt Lake City Airport. The Salt Lake City auction will include 11 townhomes and some large luxury homes.

- Monday, Oct. 24, 11 a.m. CDT, Springhill Suites Houston Intercontinental Airport. Included in the sale will be commercial land in San Antonio and residential lots in Justin and El Paso.
