FDIC Auctions to Feature Homes, Offices in Washington, Oregon, Utah, Colorado and Texas
(firmenpresse) - SEATTLE, WA -- (Marketwire) -- 10/03/11 -- Looking for a good buy on a home in the Seattle area? Or maybe an office building in Snohomish County? Those will be among dozens of properties selling to the highest bidder Wednesday, Oct. 19, in an FDIC real estate auction.
The auction will be the first of a series of four FDIC sales being managed by . Other events will be held in Salt Lake City, Denver and Houston.
"We have a nice selection of both offices and commercial properties in all of these sales, but especially in Seattle," said John Dixon, president of the auction company. Among the properties being auctioned are a townhome in Seattle, two homes in Lynwood, and homes in Lake Stevens and Everett. Other residential properties will include duplexes in Everett and Port Orchard.
Also set for auction in Seattle are former bank branches in Everett, Wash., Arlington, Ore., and Springfield, Ore., as well as a service station/convenience store in Oroville, Wash.
The Seattle event will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 19, at the Courtyard Seattle Downtown Lake Union.
Additional FDIC auctions in the series include:
Friday, Oct. 21, 11 a.m. MDT, Marriott Courtyard, Salt Lake City Airport. The Salt Lake City auction will include 11 townhomes and some large luxury homes.
Saturday, Oct. 22, 4 p.m. MDT, Marriott Courtyard Denver Airport. The focus in Denver will be on commercial properties, with a former technical school and four former bank branches. It will also include a luxury home in Denver with approximately 6,506 square feet.
- Monday, Oct. 24, 11 a.m. CDT, Springhill Suites Houston Intercontinental Airport. Included in the sale will be commercial land in San Antonio and residential lots in Justin and El Paso.
