Swissport and easyJet to extend their successful collaboration in

(Thomson Reuters ONE) - Zurich, 29 October 2009 - Swissport International, the world'sleading provider of ground services to the aviation sector, is toextend its existing cooperation agreement with leading Europeanlow-cost carrier easyJet for a further four years. The accord, whichis of major importance to both partners, covers the provision ofground services at Geneva Airport for some 31 000 movements a year.Swissport and easyJet have been successfully collaborating at GenevaAirport for several years now. With the precise numbers varying fromseason to season, between 250 and 350 Swissport ground personnel arecurrently assigned to looking after easyJet services, providing thefull range of ground handling required for some 3.8 millionpassengers a year travelling to more than 40 destinations.The fact that the present cooperation agreement is now to be extendedfor a further four years is testimony to the partners' flawlesscollaboration and reciprocal confidence and trust. easyJet hasexpanded its Geneva station into a key European hub over the pastfour years, almost doubling both flight numbers and passengervolumes."We're delighted to have extended our present collaboration," saysErnest Hochuli, CEO of Swissport Geneva.
