Red Crescent Reports No Damage from Earthquake in Turkey
-Confirms No Operational Impact-
(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 10/24/11 -- Red Crescent Resources Limited (TSX: RCB), a mineral exploration and development company focused on base metals in Turkey, today announced that its operations were not impacted in any way by the earthquake that hit the Van province and the City of Van in South-east Turkey on October 23.
"We are sincerely dismayed by the impact of the earthquake on the citizens of Van and our thoughts and prayers go out to them. We are relieved to report that none of the operations or staff of the company has been affected at Hakkari," remarked Alan M. Clegg, Red Crescent Chairman and CEO. "A number of our senior executives arrived in Van airport only two hours before the earthquake struck and were on the road to our operations in Hakkari at the time and felt nothing. Reports of very minor vibrations being felt in Hakkari province were heard, but nothing more."
