Reporta names Peter Dibbern to the Board of Management

Hamburg-based provider of SaaS controlling systems brings an experienced hand to the team

(firmenpresse) - Peter Dibbern is a creative thinker and a marketing professional with a certain soft spot for sales. And now, he is the newest member of the Board of Management of Reporta Controllingsysteme AG, based in Hamburg, Germany: In October 2009, he took on responsibility for positioning and sales of the company’s web-based controlling application.

The connection with controlling comes as no accident. Dibbern has already amassed extensive experience in this field, in his four and a half years of service at Varial Software AG, based in Hamburg. Over the past eight years, as Director of Marketing Communications and a member of the executive management, he positioned the ERP system marketed by Berlin-based PSIPENTA as a market leader in mechanical and facilities engineering.

The innovative business model practiced at Reporta was one of the main factors behind Dibbern’s move. With the Software as a Service (SaaS) application, the company has lured Dibbern away from well-trodden paths, opening up completely new directions in marketing and sales of software applications. “Controlling via cloud – now that’s really something for innovators, for people who quickly grasp the opportunities that are suddenly becoming available to them,” says Dibbern, who now shares responsibility for heading up the fast-growing company with head developer Daniel Grünthal. Unique solutions are what drive him. The goal: establishing Reporta, and its one-of-a-kind on-demand solutions, on the market and enabling small and mid-sized companies in particular to gain access to state-of-the-art technologies.

Reporta, the world’s first web-based controlling system designed especially for service providers, overcomes company-internal information barriers. Information deficits are eliminated and growth opportunities indicated on an always up-to-date basis. For the first time, service companies can now obtain their operative corporate data in real time to help them arrive at the right decision. Data are available online 24 hours a day, all over the world and on an always up-to-date basis. Reporta draws upon the most important information for this purpose from the accounting department, which in turn can access these data anytime and meet fiscal obligations faster and more dependably than ever before.

Up-to-date controlling – especially in the current global economic crisis, it is an absolute must for any executive who wants to successfully guide a company through tough times. With the ability to keep up to date on any project, executives can take preventive and corrective action early on when matters turn in the wrong direction. That means that they can always keep an eye on their bottom line. Development of the system was based on a survey of more than 500 service providers, accountants, and top executives. Now, with Reporta, the company has developed a system that meets all of their requirements when it comes to simple, efficient controlling.
