SGS provides Quality Control of Wind Towers for Sany Group in China
In July 2011, SGS was assigned a contract to perform quality control services of wind towers for Sany Group, a heavy construction equipment manufacturer, in China. During the contract, which began in August 2011, SGS will conduct supervision services throughout the production process of wind towers to ensure that they will fulfill the applicable regulatory and client-specific requirements.
Quality Control of Wind Towers for Sany Group in China Performed by SGS(firmenpresse) - In July 2011, SGS was awarded a contract to provide specialist quality control services during the production process of wind towers by Sany Group in China.
In order to ensure that the wind towers will fulfill the applicable regulatory and client-specific requirements and operate as intended, Sany Group, a heavy construction equipment manufacturer, looked for a reliable inspection, verification, testing and certification company. Due to the decades of experience in projects of this kind, professional technical support and a group of senior experts, SGS was chosen to provide third-party services to Sany Group.
Throughout the contract, scheduled to begin in August 2011, SGS’s team of experts will provide complex on-site inspection, auditing, monitoring and quality control witness services during the production process. SGS will verify materials, parts and final products through checks and sample testing.
The inspection of the wind towers will be carried out in accordance with quality assurance procedures and a checklist relating to specific types of equipment, operational factors and the vendor’s quality control system. Furthermore, SGS will review the design, specifications, drawings and specified standards, to meet the applicable regulatory requirements.
With the help of SGS, the quality of the wind towers will be in compliance with all international and national standards in line with client expectations.
