Under the terms of the agreement,Pfeiffer Vacuum will acquire 100 percent of the shares in Trinoseffective January 1, 2010. The purchase price will be financed incash. Confidentiality has been agreed regarding the total volume ofthe transaction.By expanding the Pfeiffer Vacuum portfolio to include thehigh-quality vacuum components, chambers and systems from TrinosVakuum-Systeme, the company can now offer its customers throughoutthe world even more comprehensive solutions for their vacuum needs.The expertise possessed by the two companies in developing andengineering new technologies is also complementary. Pfeiffer Vacuum plans to retain and expand thelocation in Göttingen, along with all of its employees.
