ETUOVI.COM LAUNCHES A NEW MOBILE APPLICATION - INNOVATIVE LOCATION BASED
APARTMENT SEARCH
Etuovi.com, part of Alma Media Corporation and Finland´s leading online real
estate portal has launched a new apartment search application for iPhone and
iPad. Application enables users to see available apartments on a map near their
current location. In addition to this, Etuovi.com launches a new kind of
apartment search alert for mobile.
By using Etuovi.com´s mobile application, users can search on-sale-apartments
near their current location at a given time. It is also possible to narrow down
the search based on price, square area, number of rooms and type of property.
- It is more and more common to use online services on mobile devices today.
Mobile versions of real estate services are most commonly used by people who are
thinking of buying a new apartment in the next few months. Etuovi.com wants to
offer those planning the most important purchase of their lives a mobile
service, in which the information of apartments is readily available, regardless
of time and place, says Etuovi.com's Product manager Matti Liljaniemi.
Worldwide unique search alert for mobile
The application also offers a new service, mobile apartment search alert, called
Continuous search. The mobile search alert is first of its kind internationally.
As in the online service, users can save their own search criteria for
apartments, but instead of email, they get a push-notice of new apartment
directly into their iPhone or iPad. It only takes one push of the screen to see
additional information of the apartment.
Arranging showing time and asking more information about the apartment is also
easy through the application, because it is possible to call the real estate
agent directly through the apartment's information page. Possibility to react
quickly offers an advantage to the consumer when an interesting apartment comes
to market.
Etuovi.com's mobile application can be downloaded for free on Apple´s App Store.
Applications suitable for Android-phones and -tablets will be launched later.
