Munich, 12 December 2011. KINGHERO AG, the German holding company of a
fast-growing Chinese fashion company, announces that as of today it has
already achieved the sales of EUR 100 million for the fiscal year 2011.
Market conditions for KINGHERO fashion remain brisk, which will lead to
further strong sales growth for the rest of the month. KINGHERO confirms
that the sales guidance of EUR 105 million will be achieved. Given the
current demand pattern, KINGHERO expects the positive revenue trend to
persist in the year 2012.
'KINGHERO fashion is experiencing strong demand. Our designs are well
appreciated by our Chinese customers. The shift towards high-end fashion is
paying off. In particular, our fast growing flagship store network attracts
a customer group, which spends more and purchases higher margin fashion,'
said Zhang Yu, CEO of KINGHERO AG.
The continued role-out of flagship stores propelled sales in the final
quarter of the year. Sales already amount to EUR 37 million in the current
fourth quarter. Compared to the average quarterly sales recorded in the
first three quarters 2011 (total EUR 63.1 million, average EUR 21 million)
this represents an increase of more than 75%.
'We are confident to achieve further high margin sales in the final weeks
of this year,' comments Xiaoping Zhao-Moll, member of the board of KINGHERO
AG.
