Pöyry awarded Detailed Engineering for the Iron Ore Beneficiation Plant Expansion in Brazil

Pöyry's Industry business group has been awarded a services assignment by
Companhia Siderurgica Nacional S.A. (CSN) for detailed engineering to finalize
the iron ore beneficiation plant expansion at Casa de Pedra Mine in the state of
Minas Gerais, south-east Brazil.
The parties have agreed that the value of the assignment will not be disclosed.
The order has been booked into the third quarter 2012 order stock.
Pöyry's engineering assignment includes multidisciplinary services for civil and
plant engineering (including mechanical, piping, electrical and instrumentation
engineering), project control, and document management.
The contract strengthens Pöyry's strategy to have regional position in the
Mining & Metals sector in Latin America.
