The Philippine subsidiary 'Curcas Oil Philippines Inc.' is making great
progress with the integration of the existing plantations of its partners.
In the first two months of this year, contracts with various local farmers,
which own over 2,500ha of planted plantations, have been notarized.
Generally, the trees have a maturity of 2-3 years.
The filters and squeezer ordered for the pilot phase are ready for delivery
from the German manufacturer Osnabrücker Ölmühlen GmbH and will be shipped
to the point of destination in the Philippines shortly. The commencement of
the pilot phase is scheduled for April. The purchase of jatropha seeds in
small amounts from the contracted farmers has already commenced.
