Pöyry awarded engineering assignment from Svenska Kraftnät contributing to regeneration of Swedish electricity grids

Svenska Kraftnät, the Swedish National Grid, has awarded Pöyry an engineering
assignment within an ongoing framework agreement. The project is part of a large
scale investment plan for the regeneration of the Swedish national and regional
electricity grids.
The assignment for Svenska Kraftnät, Ekhyddan-Barkeryd, includes detailed
planning, engineering and support during the construction phase of a 120 km long
power line. The project will involve more than 15 expert consultants and is
expected to last until 2019. The project has been included in the Energy
business group's second quarter 2013 order stock and has a total value of
approximately 4.4 million Euros.

consultants over a long period of time. It will also provide a great opportunity
to implement the use of innovative new technologies, such as laser data scanning
and 3D modelling, bringing great value to our clients.", says Magnus
