Long-serving executive to leave company at own request
The Supervisory Board of listed company PEACHES AG, which functions as the
holding company for Peaches Group, voted to approve a change in senior
management at its last meeting.
Matthias Mathieu, founder and long-serving company Chairman, has asked the
Supervisory Board to be released from his contractual duties as of 30 June
2013. The Supervisory Board has agreed to his request and unanimously voted
to end his tenure of his current position on that date.
As managing director of Munich-based Mountain Lake Investment GmbH,
Matthias Mathieu will in future devote his attention to the venture capital
business. The company is a subsidiary of the eponymous Swiss firm and is
already a shareholder in a number of businesses throughout Germany.
'I started planning my resignation at Peaches quite some time ago. My
decision takes into account the firm's extensive restructuring, and I am
leaving behind a dynamic company that is well equipped to face the future.
I wish my successor, who provided me with invaluable support when
overhauling the company and its objectives, all the very best with the task
of successfully positioning Peaches within the market.'
Reinhold M. Sigler, Managing Director of the company's subsidiaries since
the start of 2012, is designated as Mathieu's successor to lead the Group,
which is currently valued at EUR 50 million on the stock market.

The core competencies of the Peaches Group can be divided into two
different segments: Payments&Prepaid Services.
The group has real-world experience in the field of mobile payments and
positions itself as a mobile payment acquirer featuring an in-house mobile
payment platform. Peaches also acts as a reseller (PSP, payment service
provider) for the mpass mobile payment service of Telekom, Vodafone and O2.
The Peaches Group also provides prepaid top-up services. The
Wiesbaden-based group of companies also runs an in-house prepaid service
platform under the prelado prepaid anytime&anywhere brand, which offers
users a real-time mobile telephone top-up service that can be accessed via
app, the mobile web, and the internet. A free, provider-neutral prepaid
current balance display is also available via an app (Android&iOS). This
prepaid service is available from PEACHES Mobile GmbH as a white label
solution for interested partners. The full-service offering, including
airtime, payment processing, and a payment guarantee, is run wholly in the
partner's CI/CD.
The Peaches Group includes PEACHES Systems GmbH, PEACHES Mobile GmbH and
REA MOBILE GmbH, which are subsidiaries of PEACHES AG.
