Theproject covers derivation of the Sebgag River in the province ofLaghouat and is built for the National Irrigation and DrainageAuthority (ONID). The value of the assignment is about EUR 1 million.The rubber dam "Khneg Sidi Brahim" is the first one in the country.It will have a total length of 50 meters with a total height ofapproximately 6 meters and a storage capacity of up to 5 millioncubic meters. Its objective is to mobilise water resources allowingirrigation of agricultural surfaces downstream of the dam. The rubberdam is the first of its kind in Africa.
