KINGHERO AG opens new production facility

- New production facility in Xiamen starts operation
- Own production capacity will increase by 20%
Munich, 09 March 2011. KINGHERO AG, the German holding company of a
fast-growing Chinese fashion group, announces that the new production
facility in Xiamen has started operation. Full production capacity is to be
reached by the end of June 2011, when the relocation of KINGHERO's
production is completed. The new production covers an area of 70,000 sqm.
KINGHERO's total investment in refurbishment, equipment and purchase of the
new facilities amounts to EUR 5 million.
Due to the strong growth of KINGHERO, the opening of the new facility
enables the company to increase its production volume by 20% and to further
increase manufacturing flexibility. The new production facility is equipped
to produce the entire product range of KINGHERO and significantly reduce
the time-to-market of new fashion. The facility is located in Xiamen, a
short distance from the company's current production site.
'The successful expansion of KINGERO and our aim to have a high rate of
flexibility makes it necessary to increase our own production capacity',
states Zhang Yu, CEO and founder of KINGHERO. 'We are very pleased with the
recent developments and are confident that we can reach our targets for the
financial year 2011.'
