Timeline Theatre Company Presents Chicago Premiere of Overlooked Gem Juno

(firmenpresse) - CHICAGO, IL -- (Marketwired) -- 10/15/14 -- Timeline Theatre Company presented Juno, a play that is long overdue for its first Chicago production. How long? The show originally premiered on Broadway in 1959, but has never been produced in Chicago.

Juno fits in nicely with the Timeline Theatre Company's stated goal of presenting historical stories with contemporary themes. Based on the play Juno and the Paycock, the musical is set during the Irish Civil War in the 1920s. The play's themes of a politically divided nation, disability, debt, and working women are very contemporary. Although previous productions of the musical have not done well, this production has received glowing reviews and recommendations.
