Ericsson and M:tel enter managed services agreement in Montenegro

* Ericsson to manage operations and maintenance of M:tel's network
* Seven-year contract includes network operations, field services management
for M:tel's radio, transmission and core networks
* Enables M:tel to offer an enhanced user experience to its subscribers
Montenegrin operator M:tel has signed a seven-year managed services agreement
with Ericsson (NASDAQ: ERIC). Ericsson will manage the operator's network
infrastructure - including the radio access network, transmission network and
core network - as well as IT operations related to value-added services and
charging and billing.
In addition, Ericsson will provide field support and maintenance, spare parts
-handling, support for enterprise IT and service desks for M:tel's end users. As
a result of the agreement, M:tel's network operations and field operations
divisions will be transferred to Ericsson.
Vladimir Lucic, CEO of M:tel, says: "We were looking for a reliable and
