Pöyry awarded complete engineering services assignment for the Untere
Tuxbachüberleitung hydropower project, Austria

Verbund Hydro Power GmbH has awarded Pöyry an assignment for a wide range of
engineering and project management services for the Untere Tuxbachüberleitung
hydropower project to be constructed in the Tyrolean Zillertal, Austria. The
assignment comprises detailed design and site supervision services as well as
the necessary geological aspects including hydro geological preservation
services.
The Tuxbach hydropower project is situated in the Zillertal, province of Tyrol.
The new structure will harness the power of the Tuxbach creek and will
simultaneously increase the efficiency of the group of hydropower plants "Zemm -
Ziller", one of the largest power stations in Austria. The project comprises one
8.6 km long tunnel, two weirs, a fish passing structure and a small hydropower
plant with an installed capacity of 1.7 MW. Construction work will start in
early 2017 and is scheduled for completion after 3 years.

The value of the order is not disclosed. The order will be recognised in the
Regional Operations and Energy Business Group order stocks in Q4/2016.
