Confirms Copper Mineralization in the South East Zone (SEZ)

(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 12/13/11 -- Red Crescent Resources Limited (TSX: RCB)(FRANKFURT: 7RC), a base metals focused mineral exploration and mine development company with operations in Turkey, announced today that assay results have been received for boreholes drilled in the South East Zone (SEZ) that forms part of its exploration program at its Sivas Copper Project (To view the image related to these drilling results, please visit the following link: .) All grades reported have been subject to, and have passed, Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) protocols.

SEZ-007 Results

Results from borehole SEZ-007 in the SEZ of the Sivas Copper Project have been received. This hole was drilled as part of a systematic program to test listvenite units on the Main Zone (MZ) and SEZ of the Sivas Copper Project. These units extend for approximately 5 km on strike within the project area.

Drilled thickness intervals are quoted as weighted average grades for mineralised intersections using a greater than or equal to0.25% copper cut-off. True mineralised widths are not quoted as further work is required to correlate data with adjacent drill holes to determine the geometry of mineralisation within the listvenite unit Core recovery within the listvenite is good at + 90%.

SEZ-007 (for details of the strip log refer to link)

Elevated low level gold results are associated with zones of copper enrichment.

SEZ-007 was drilled in follow-up to encouraging results obtained from surface channel sampling over a 60m wide zone of outcropping copper mineralisation within listvenite exposures in the SEZ. Sampling was undertaken in the form of continuous 2 m channel samples, with samples being analyzed for copper by aqua regia digest and atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS) finish and for gold by 50g fire assay and AAS finish.

The central portion of the sampled zone contains stockwork quartz and barite veining and returned an average grade of 1.04% Cu over approximately 26 m including a higher grade zone of 2,1% Cu over 4 m.

Gold and copper assays were performed by the ALS Chemex laboratory in Izmir, Turkey. Sample preparation and gold analysis using conventional fire assay procedures with AAS finish on 50g aliquots was carried out (method code Au-AA24). Copper analysis was carried out by aqua regia digest with AAS finish (method code Cu-AA46). In addition, gold and multi-element analyses are currently being performed by ISO17025 accredited ALS Chemex laboratory in Vancouver, Canada.

Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) for the Sivas Copper Project includes a chain of custody protocol, and systematic submittal of approximately 20% QA/QC samples including field duplicates, field blanks and certified reference samples into the sample stream submitted to the laboratory.

"We are pleased with the encouraging results of drill hole SEZ 7 giving further confidence in the potential quality of this asset" remarked Douglas Taylor, Director and General Manager of Sivas Cu Project. "10 drill holes (totalling approx. 1200m) have been completed (2 on the MZ and 8 on the SEZ) of which 2 now assayed have returned promising Cu grades. Approximately 60% of the meters drilled were in the targeted listvenite mineralised zone. ALS Chemex Laboratory results for outstanding 6 drill holes are expected during December. It is planned to drill further for another approximate 9000m in 2012 (approximately 45 drill holes) and expected to commence in April/May 2012."

The Sivas Project is located in the Sivas region of north-east Central Turkey, approximately 650 km northwest of RCR's Hakkari Zinc Project and 400 km north-east of the Company's Tufanbeyli Zinc Project, located at Adana.
