Heliocentris secures an additional follow-up order for energy efficiency
solutions in Dubai
Berlin - 22 May 2012: The Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company -
du, has issued an additional order with Heliocentris, a specialist in
autonomous energy supply and energy efficiency solutions, for further 30
turnkey energy efficiency and monitoring solutions. Heliocentris has
already implemented 57 such 'Genset Efficiency' solutions and is near to
complete a second order of 50 systems.
The 'Genset Efficiency' solution controls the operation of mobile base
stations' diesel generators. An automotive style hybridization of the
diesel genset with a battery in combination with an intelligent energy
management increases efficiency and considerably reduces fuel consumption
and CO2 emissions by 50% and more. In addition, the Energy Manager
increases the transparency of operational tasks by monitoring the network
infrastructure and thus decreasing downtime of the towers as well as
maintenance efforts.
The implementation of this significant project will be managed from the
Heliocentris branch office, located in Silicon Oasis, Dubai.

generators with energy storage such as batteries and the own hydrogen fuel
cell based storage solutions based on our scalable energy management

in this area in numerous projects with renowned partners across the world.
